Digifort has concluded yet another project in favor of Brazilian technological development.  This time, in partnership with the integrator One for All, the software implemented modern monitoring solutions for Telebras Integrated Center for Network Management (Centro Integrado de Gerência de Redes – CIGR), a mixed-economy state-run company in the telecommunications sector.  The works were carried out inside the new Integrated Center for Network Management (NOC), situated at Telebras headquarters in Brasília/DF. The new NOC will oversee the National Telecommunications Network, providing support to the National Broadband Program (PNBL),

The NOC inauguration ceremony counted with the presence of the Brazilian minister for Telecommunications, Mr. Paulo Bernardo, the president of the Brazilian Post Office, Mr. Wagner Pinheiro de Oliveira, the staff and the president of the state-run company, Mr. Caio Bonilha.  In the new environment, comprised by 120 square meters of functional area, 25 operators monitor 24 hours per day the entire Telebras National Telecommunications Network, monitoring in real time all the events and operation throughout the country, by means of a modern Video Wall panel, comprised by twelve 46 inch displays.

“We installed 48 software licenses of the version 6.7, in specific the Digifort Insight module, since it does the same function of a camera, but the captured images are from the workstations connected via IP.  The solution implemented at Telebras is the best in Brazil, since it follows the arrangement used at NASA rooms in the USA.  Basically, the system has a robust server, operational and technological redundancy of multiple full HD image channels.  Fiber optic switches, HD signal decoder and professional monitors from Samsung complete the project”, explains Mr. Andre Menezes, executive manager for One for All.

The manager reveals that no other software could satisfy all the project’s requirements, especially due to the characteristics of the National Broadband Network.   He says that at no time he experienced difficulties in this implementation, since his team had prepared itself and testes the possibilities of Digifort to the extreme.  Information security, quick image transmission, easy creation of administrators and clients, organized hierarchy in resource usage, language in Portuguese, user-friendly interface and immediate technical support in Brazil are among the factors highlighted by One for All.

.

“Digifort’s superiority is clear. With our market experience, we still have not found software so versatile in the world, mainly for being a Brazilian system.  Before starting the project at Telebras, we were concerned with the integration requirements, especially because it had a series of software for controlling the network, cameras, among others.  We understand that there would be no other product to satisfy this demand, beyond its simplicity for support and usage.  You call and service is immediate.  The phrase “can’t do” does not exist for the team Digifort”, concludes Menezes.

.

Carlos Eduardo Bonilha, executive director for Digifort, highlights the importance on this success case for the software’s portfolio.  “The ideal partnership with One for All and the implementation of our system inside a modern telecommunications complex proves that we are in the right track, especially in regards to the IT distributors, integrators and managers spread throughout the world.  Furthermore, the project means a lot for Brazil, since Telebras NOC and PNBL are fundamental for the proper workings of several technologies during the FIFA 2014 World Cup of Soccer and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games”.
