Digifort's features attracted the public

On this Thursday (17), Digifort resumed its commitment of taking information, knowledge and technological innovation to the Brazilian market. Represented by Carlos Eduardo Bonilha, executive director from Systrade Tecnologia, the software was subject matter at the meeting of the Câmara Setorial de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação da ACS (ACS Information Technology and Communication Sectorial Chamber). The event brought together organization’s partners, entrepreneurs, integrators, technologists and representatives from port terminals, state-owned companies, and from the private and public sectors. With the theme “First Brazilian IP Surveillance Software”, the lecture covered the main resources, features, modules, accessories and technologies of the Country’s leader product in the “IP Surveillance” segment.

.

During the ninety-minute exposition, Bonilha conducted the lecture in a didactic, theoretical, practical and interactive fashion. In addition to telling the history about the software’s origin, the executive also talked about the present market positioning, where the product holds over 80% of the “market share” in Brazil and stands in the “Top Ten” list in the international market for patrimonial surveillance software. After this institutional introduction, the lecturer took a stroll through the universe of possibilities being offered to users by Digifort. The software was widely used, connecting live to several remote locations and demonstrating, in real time, its main resources, facilities and technical, administrative and operational features.

.

And it was precisely this technological immersion that caught the attention of the group of professionals who were present at the ACS auditorium, arousing curiosity and prompting questions from the audience. After this stage, Bonilha pointed out some success cases that make use of Digifort in national territory, such as the “Centro de Operations RIO” (RIO Operations Center), run by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall and other government agencies. The site is considered Latin America’s largest control and crisis management center. He further showed the Triunfo Concepa project in South Brazil. The Ecorodovias Group, who manages several Brazilian highways, was also mentioned as a success case.

Bonilha covered issues relating to technology and success cases

Last, but not least, the executive briefly mentioned the project developed for the Receita Federal do Brasil (Brazilian Federal Revenue), comprised by the Central de Monitoramento e Vigilância Aduaneira da Alfândega do Porto de Santos (COV) [Customs Surveillance and Monitoring Center of Santos Port Customs]. The new equipment is set to be inaugurated in November, improving the supervision, management and control of port terminals and federal agents who work at the Santos docks. The project is a consultative, technological and operational partnership between ABTRA – Associação Brasileira de Terminais e Recintos Alfandegados (Brazilian Association of Customs Bonded Terminals and Customs Facilities), the Federal Revenue Office, Digifort and Consuldata Comunicação de Dados, company associated to the I&C Chamber of ACS and software integrator in several regions.

.

Before closing, he still answered questions from the public present, where he expressed his desire to highlight the fact that Digifort’s success is fruit of the collaboration from its users. He also received an unexpected and spontaneous testimonial from an audience member, who attested the software’s quality along the years in which it has been used at his company. “We always highlight that our quality is fruit of Brazilian creativity”. We receive tips and suggestions that end up being incorporated into the product, thus helping our customers worldwide. We are happy in being able to lecture to the business community in Santos, one of the most dominant regions in the Country, especially at a place as traditional and special as ACS”, concluded the executive.

.

For Pedro Veras, coordinator of the TI&C Chamber of ACS, the event was a success and provided incentive so that other actions may be conducted by local entrepreneurs. “At the group, our mission is to encourage the exchange of information, the dissemination of good practices and the common good of the companies who are with us. At the TI&C Chamber of ACS, we aim at providing this type of atmosphere for partners and visitors, in the light of the fact that the entity supports us in this venture. In addition to the technological bath, Digifort acted as an inspiring instrument for the entrepreneurs who were present today. We take pride in knowing that a 100% Brazilian software carries so much respect in the world market. We thank for this opportunity”, stressed the business man.

.

Approximately 50 people took part in the event
